Seismic Upgrades to Historic Parish Hall
Blach Construction has constructed or renovated numerous projects for the church and school.
These projects include a complete seismic upgrade and renovation of the 1923 neo-Gothic parish hall on this historic church campus.
The work included strengthening all of the roof-to-wall connections, replacing the tile roofs, installing new air conditioning, remodeling the bride’s room and all restrooms to current codes, refinishing the hardwood floors, modernizing the kitchen, repairing all of the leaded glass windows and correcting unsafe electrical wiring.
Blach finished its base contract scope of work more than $50,000 under its GMP, thereby allowing the Church to add a kitchen and library renovation without a change order.
Other projects have included school classroom, library and administration space remodels and renovations.
