November has long-been dubbed the month of gratitude. At Blach, we support this concept wholeheartedly – all year long. With Thanksgiving upon us, we are inspired to call attention to two of our most recent projects: Immanuel-Sobrato Community and The Rollins.
For 50-plus years, we have hung our hard hats on being service-minded builders dedicated to enhancing our communities. One drive around the Bay Area today and it is evident that many residents within our communities are struggling to find safe, affordable places to live. For these reasons, we are grateful to be an integral part of these two highly rewarding housing projects.
Located on opposite sides of the San Francisco Peninsula, and at different stages of construction, each project will offer much-needed affordable housing to Bay Area residents. While the Immanuel-Sobrato Community will provide 108 permanent homes to unhoused San Jose residents, including a wealth of amenities, security features and dedicated space for supportive services, The Rollins comprises 80 affordable homes, 18 of which will be dedicated exclusively for Veterans. It is located within the City of Millbrae’s highly anticipated transit-oriented development, Gateway at Millbrae Station, allowing for easy access to dining, shopping and public transportation. Both projects are progressing steadily and should complete as planned by early 2023 and Summer 2022, respectively.
In addition to these critical housing projects, we are equally as proud to be immersed in building a variety of other structures that will positively impact their respective stakeholders and surrounding communities. So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, Blach humbly expresses our sincerest gratitude.
Regardless of your connection to Blach, we wish each and every one of you a happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving.
