MUSD Innovation Campus

The MUSD Innovation Campus is a first-of-its-kind education and workforce development center designed to provide future-ready learners with knowledge and training that translates into well-paying, sustainable careers. Located on the site of the former Samuel Ayer High School, the MUSD Innovation Campus serves as home to the District Office, Adult Education, Cal Hills High alternative/continuation school and satellite site for Milpitas High School. It comprises six new two-story buildings and one modernized building that collectively create a new, hands-on learning environment. The facility is a combination of classrooms, experiential learning labs, career simulation facilities, and science technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) labs supported by flex spaces and outdoor learning quads and courtyards. Taking a phased approach, Blach delivered the first four Folia buildings in approximately one year and just in time for the 2023-24 school year. Phase two, with two additional Folia buildings, was completed in Summer 2024.
